Etienne Wenger

Etienne Wenger is a social learning theorist who holds a doctorate in information and computer science from UC Irvine.  He is perhaps best known for his collaborative work with Jean Lave on the concepts of situated learning, legitimate peripheral participation, and communities of practice.
